About Borders and Migration

I started this site in March 2021, after months of reflecting on how I could express and share my research and my ruminations. I have experienced the crossing of borders (both physical and cultural) ever since I came to the U.S. to study for my Ph.D. in Anthropology at UC Santa Cruz in the mid-1990s. I invite you to visit my site, where I explore the different sides and angles of border crossings, immigration policy, global migrations, and border cultures.
